Buses and Cars

1. STC
STC Buses are about the safest and most reliable service in the country. Unfortunately the STC service network opperates between only major cities and towns like Kumasi, Accra and Cape-Coast . The STC station in accra can be found in Accra near Kwame Nkrumah circle, and in Kumasi at Adum.

2. GPRTU
GPRTU is more or less similar to STC in terms of their operational network. The GPRTU service is however less comfortable than the STC service due to its rigid seating design. If you are in a rush however we recomend you take GPRTU as it is sure to get you to your destination on time.

3. KTS

The KTS service is more or less the same as the GPRTU service in terms of its frequency of travel and passenger comfort. You can find GPRTU buses in all the 10 major regional capitals in the country.

4. Tro Tro
The tro-tro has gained a reputation of "Fast and risky", and yet is the most common form of road transportation in the country. If you are back-packing, is is almost inevitable that you would have to opt for the "tro" in order to get to your destination. Just brace yourself for the ride and you should be fine. Afterall everyone else takes it and some survive (Just kidding).
